| My Invisible Friend…Wind I feel your kiss Upon my cheek As you ruffle up my hair I sense your breath Hot on my back I turn but no one’s there You dance briskly with the trees And whistle from time to time I listen as you play music On my front porch chimes I’ve seen the damage you can do In the wake of a storm I’ve felt your bite deep in my skin On a cold & wintry morn Many times I’ve cursed you For throwing dust in my eyes And many times I’ve thanked you With a cheerful sigh I walk with you most every day And miss when you’re not there… Kissing softly on my cheek And ruffling up my hair Dancing on Clouds All About The Author
